Last update to the Android ABQ Ride app was in summer and did not contain support for Android 8 (Oreo). The updated needs to be updated before anyone running Oreo on their device can use the app. The needed information for building in this support has been available for months (maybe 1 year or more), and there is no valid excuse for the wait. Transit gets hundreds of thousands of dollars for technology costs, a small portion of that money could be used to maintain the app builds.
