Description
I wish people would stop. I walk to and from work everyday, and the amount of people I see talking/texting while they are driving Yes!!!! Heaven help the individual driver who hits a pedestrian while talking/texting while driving. I have seen individuals in state cars, UI employees, Yankee Gas, young men and ladies, even a policeman. I feel like going around and putting signs on motor vehicles to stop with the talking/texting madness.
Take the NO PHONE ZONE pledge that OPRAH has . Be a little conscious of the people around you. If you don't value your life, don't assume that someone else shares your opinion. JUST DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!

I deal with this problem EVERY DAY as I walk to work. Seems the individuals texting/driving don't care if they hit a pedestrian OR another motorist. . I wonder IF they would care if a member of THEIR family was seriously hurt by someone texting/driving? I wonder!

I agree it's a horrible problem and see it daily. However, enforcement is almost impossible. A parked police car has a VERY hard time seeing if someone is texting while driving unless they are holding the phone up. If the car's windows are tinted... no way to see at all.
Dangerous yes but not as easy as it sounds to stop.
