There is gravel on the road, all down washington road and onto 23mile in chesterfield and New Baltimore. There is SO much on the road that car tires are throwing it on/at other cars. My windshield was cracked by the gravel! This is a HUGE problem because, I travel this road everyday.

The contractor for the Road Commission of Macomb County was microsurfacing this street and we are aware of the complications. Claimants should contact the RCMC at 586.463.8671 or at geninfo@rcmcweb.org to provide their name and phone number. Wow who came up with this idea. It has to be one of the dumbest things I have seen in my 17 years of commuting around Metro Detroit. Hot Tar mixed with tons of loose gravel on a hot day. Sounds like are real good road driving condition. Gravel is all over the city now thanks to this move. Why not do a lane at a time and close the loose gravel lane. Anything would have been better than this. Another great reason you cant own a nice car in Metro Detroit, the roads ruin everything.

Does Washington go down to 23 Mile Road??? I travel Callens past 23 Mile through baker onto Washington and over to 26 Mile Rd everyday and have not noticed gravel - are you talking about where construction was at Washington and GREEN STREET near downtown New Baltimore?
