The canal trail in New Haven has broken glass across the path in a couple of places. Should be swept.
In addition, tree roots are already beginning to crack the pavement in numerous places. It's not bad yet but will get worse.

There was very little glass on the trail the past couple times I rode through.
Closing the ticket for now.

Thank you to the City for maintaining this linear park.
Please post here if you witness see significant amounts of glass on the trail, and we'll get a quick resolution. The best way to do this is to click "reopen" and type in where you observed the problem.
We all need to work together to keep this trail clean and attractive. In the past, the glass there has made it unusable -- and all it takes for someone to avoid using the trail is for them to get a flat once.
Having communities report and monitor issues in this way is a good way to take direct action and make our government services more efficient.
If you see glass on the trail in other communities (outside of Dixwell/Newhallville), please open separate tickets on SeeClickFix for them.
