6 months ago I saw a work crew raise two sides of this building and demolish the foundation underneath. They built temporary supports, which are resting on an adjoining retaining wall that probably isn't spec'd to take this load. 6 months later, the building is in the same condition, raised on temporary supports with no foundation. This is a safety hazard. It would not take much for these supports to be compromised, and for the entire building to come down on anyone inside. Given how frequently this building is breached by teens and homeless folk, injuries are likely. Please hold the landlord responsible for bringing the property up to code, or seize it and demolish it. This property has been an eyesore, nuisance, and safety concern for over 15 years.
