Cars continue to park on the sidewalk every night. Between approximately 6 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. What was the result of the officer's investigation?

Cars continue to park on the sidewalk every night. There is ample room in the driveway for both cars without blocking access to sidewalk for pedestrians. Generally cars are parked on sidewalk between 6 p.m. and 6-6:30 a.m. Is there nothing that can be done to stop this practice?

These two cars routinely park on the sidewalk from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. They force pedestrians into the street. There is ample room in the driveway for them to park. Unless this is addressed before the winter months, those of us who walk will, once again, be forced to climb over snow banks and into the street to walk. Please keep this issue open.

We did not find any vehicles in violation this evening. Would it be possible to add a photo of the vehicles in violation? License plate numbers would also be helpful in resolving this issue.

Third day in a row since Traffic division last checked. 6:10 a.m.

And today, 5:10 a.m. and 6:05 a.m.

6:45 a.m All photos posted have been date-stamped. As you can see, this is a routine parking spot for those who live in this apartment.

All clear last night

Thank you for checking. It is frustrating since I had to walk into the street to avoid the car that was parked on that sidewalk at 5:00 a.m. this morning.

If this is the hour that the violation is occurring then you need to contact the Police Department's non emergency number at 203-946-6316 as we are closed then.

A stated in my original post, the cars are generally parked there between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. That is the time frame during which it is most dangerous for pedestrians to have to walk into the street to avoid them, particularly during the cold winter months with mounds of snow. They were parked there every night from the time you requested photos on 8/14 until your 8/31 check and have been there every night since. I have been told before that this was a matter for the traffic division.

It was all clear last night as well.

But this morning, 5:45 a.m.--same apartment, their other car.

I run by this property 3 mornings a week, and there is almost always a car parked illegally across the pedestrian sideway. If I lived on the block, I would also be very upset, especially since this issue has been ongoing for several months.

Until cars stop parking on the sidewalk every night and/or are ticketed, issue is not resolved.

Pedestrians have had to walk around the car parked on the sidewalk in the morning for 85 of the past 88 days, including today. Since the issue is addressed, apparently there is no restriction on parking there. Giving up.
