Paul V: regarding the 1779 Westville cannon that you mentioned was removed from Edgewood Park (in a previous post that doesn’t allow for commenting)
Have you tried calling the Parks Department or the NH Museum? A curator at the museum should be interested. And if not under the purview of Parks, parks department should at least be able to direct you to the right person. There is also an active Westville Alliance that may be able to press for an answer, too.
It is a shame to loose a piece of our town’s history. And If it was stolen, a police report should be filed.
