What did you do? It's still there. The response above indicated it was in violation for height. However it is a commercial vehicle part in a residential development. This may be a case for the sheriffs office.

Your kidding...giant black van with red and white letter parked on the lawn and you couldn't find it. Did it occur to you that it wasn't there because it was in use?

The whole idea is we can remain anonymous. I call your agent and it becomes public record. I don't want retaliation by the renter or your office. No, you can come out any afternoon after 4:30pm it's there most days and every weekend. Also the snack truck is back up the street. All you have to do is drive around our development and watch it becoming a giant eyesore. Boats, RV, & commercial trailers on lawns. I don't mind folks putting things behind their fence. The county let's this happen. I know my neighbors have been trying to get the RV off their neighbors lawn for over a year now.

Since the trailer was gone the day you came out is a pretty good indication that it's a commercial trailer. You waited 6 weeks to come out and the one day you show up its out on a job. Doesn't sound like you like doing this part of your job. But it's your job right? or should it be the sheriff?

The officer will investigate once more if there is no violation the complaint will be closed. Regarding following up with the officer, as long as you do not leave your name or number you are still allowed to remain anonymous.

Our code enforcement officer measured the vehicle in question and it is exactly 8' high. There is no violation.

OMG It's a commercial vehicle on a lawn! The lawn is littered with junk and you pass the magic wand!
