There are no redzones on my entire street, except for in front of ONE house with a very wide driveway. From time to time I see a car parked on the street, blocking the driveway , so I suspect that the tenants painted the redzones themselves to ensure they have parking when the block is full. The paint does not match the color or texture of normal redzones, so I don't think it's an official zoning job. I recently was ticketed for slightly encroaching into the zone, so I assume the tenants called a cop to ticket me when they couldn't park in front of their driveway, which, if my suspicious are correct, is very unfair. Some neighbors have told me it wasn't painted by the city.
