Please let the director of solid waste know & of public works know this. We all need to email them to let them know this is getting out of control . I have emailed him already , & trying to get the word out so many more can too. Maybe then something can be done if more say so. Please share.

I sent an email to boblondon@inlandwaste.com , the person who is supposedly the head of Inland Waste on August 26th, stating almost exactly the same thing. I never got a response of any kind, and just like Benjie said, they continue to mangle our containers every week. I thought the guy had completely crushed my neighbor's on the 14th. I was outside when he came and saw him crush it almost in two with the truck arms.
If your cart is damaged, you're told to leave it beside the curb until they come. We have drainage problems here, so they can't be left in the gutter so they stay on the grass and sometimes kill large spots of the grass. You have to remember to go out and move it at least once or twice a day to prevent this. It IS getting ridiculous. It has to be costing the city money to repair all these carts. Why not train the drivers to do a better job.
