My apologies. I sent 2 officers to the location last night and they reported that the vehicle was no longer there. Clearly there was a miscommunication as both officers informed me that they could not find the vehicle. I intend to send the same officers there at the start of their shift at 6pm to rectify this. A Registered vehicle with ignition intact , not reported stolen. Where's the owner ? Working in a lab, clocking in the hours ? Maybe after work/school takes a bike ride ? Maybe used the car for a short trip to the store then parked it in the same spot ? I heard this of this type before , perhaps this is a different situation ,but, car on Lawrence street reported , passerby claims it never moved , but it did , just parks it back in the same location , a big on-line- to- do in regards of how long can someone leave it in a spot..18 inches forward or backward every 3 days..Some claimed the harassment was from "Gentrification Vampires". others call them Gentrification weasels.
Do gooders of the worse ilk. Demanding higher fees for area zone stickers , wanting meters..etc.

When a car is parked in one spot for 4 weeks, whether non-stop or frequently enough so that no one else can use that space, it interrupts the parking space interchange that happens with the rhythm of a neighborhood's comings and goings. It also leads to speculation or worry about why that car never seems to move. Who is the owner? Does he or she ever use the car, or are they just storing it? Was it stolen? What will happen in the next blizzard when the plows can't clear the road? In my neighborhood there is much competition for parking spaces due to school parents and visitors during the day. Even though some of the houses have driveways, the residents do not always use them and park on the street, leaving less room for those who have no driveways. It makes it difficult if you have to unload groceries or heavy objects a half a block away from where you live.
I don't know what joseph.xh88 means by "harassment," or a "big online to-do", or just who it is he is calling names, but generally we deal with parking issues in a neighborly way around here.

@Virginia ; I'm not calling anyone names just quoting others. Yes Virginia it can be labelled as harassment , especially when the owner looks for his car , I can't defend the person any further, it's going to be up to him or her.."Never SEEMS to move" , but perhaps the round the clock surveillance has missed something ?

The car belongs to a neighbor on Nash street. It has been moved and parked in the same spot a few times over the last month.
