Potholes and rough roads on mt. Vernon

Hit this pothole yesterday on my bike.

There is a second pothole much closer to the intersection along this segment as well. Directly at the junction with the right-turn lane.

The above two potholes have been repaired. Thanks! Now a new one is developing on the eastbound lane just past Dunwoody Station Drive. It is "buckling" up / "breaking" / "crumbling" and straddles / extends over the bike lane and motor travel lane.

NOTHING has been even remotely repaired and the ENTIRE AREA is completely screwed up and VERY DANGEROUS! The ENTIRE paving job must be REDONE! I don't know with whom you/we contracted, but the work was NOT performed in a workmanlike manner and they undoubtedly breached whatever warranty - whether express or implied (e.g. warranty of fitness for a particular purpose) was included on the job/contract. Here is what I wrote on a related post:

"Attn: City of Dunwoody/Public Works Dept: The (re?) paving job on Mt. Vernon is HORRENDOUS! The quality is grossly and unacceptably low and there are countless potholes, debris and all kinds of other problems over/in/on lengthy sections - esp. from a few hundred yards East (?) of Abernathy toward/near Ashford Dunwoody. I mean seriously, WHAT the heck is going on with that "project"??"

Lastly, I don't think non-cyclists understand that bike lanes DETRACT from the quality of cycling when, as here, the lane is not divided by a physical median or divider of some kind. This is because the debris from motor vehicles gets kicked into and rarely kicked out of the bike lane, whereas before/without one, motorists are not restricted from the extra room on the shoulder and thus the debris never accumulates. So as a longtime and frequent cyclists - I rode there today - I am OPPOSED to the lanes. I appreciate the thought and effort, but I am confident that most experienced cyclists would concur with my analysis and opinion (and non-experienced cyclists and non-cyclists will/would too in time/if they rode).
