I agree completely. All pedestrians must negotiate cars going in and out of Dunkin Donuts. It is a busy place especially in the morning. Added street painting and maybe a slow sign would help.

I agree. My son walks here every day and cars don't yield to pedestrians. Please address this issue.

Every time I walk by this intersection, I am worried that I will be hit by cars that are entering and/or exiting the lot from Main St or Harvard St. I agree that this needs to be fixed!

I spoke to the crossing guard who worked at this intersection before they paved over the sidewalk. She commented that it is more dangerous. She sees cars go into Dunkin Donuts without considering the pedestrians frequently, large stripes at the very least should indicate that it is an intersection!
Please address this when it is warm enough to paint !

Who paved the sidewalk? Does DD really have that wide a "curb cut" ? (more than 2 lanes would be unusual)

Good question about the curb cut, it is huge. How would I find out about that? Is that kept on file at the city DPW?

We still have not heard from the city about this.

I've noticed a pattern of the city not responding on issues related to sidewalks. I've reported on multiple issues related to a lack of sidewalks and curb cuts, and the city has done nothing in all the years I've lived here. Absolutely absurd that they don't even acknowledge some of these problems.

Still no word. I hope something gets done before the next school year. Cars are coming from all directions so the last thing the drivers are not thinking about pedestrians. Some painted lines along the walkways would remind drivers that pedestrian use the area. Don't forget school children walk by their often.
I'd like at least a signal from the city they know about the problem.

THe city painted the crosswalks on Harvard Ave. Why didn't they include the sidewalk along the front of DD ?

Sidewalk is wide open and not marked!

This is still a hazard!! And it is right at a very busy intersection. Drivers block the sidewalk as they try to head in different directions. The pedestrian is an afterthought.

Why hasn't this been dealt with? Or at least give a response to why not?? I walk by there all the time with the cars sitting on the sidewalk and commuters trying to get by.

This is still an issue! Pedestrians, including Medford children deserve a clear sidewalk.
