Street parking is constantly being blocked off by the workers at 328 Montgomery Street. At the end of their work day, they will use caution tape to block off parking for them to use the next day. Is this allowed by Jersey City? If not, please follow up.

There should be no Parking signs approved from the for this area in question.
I contacted Parking Authority (201-538-2525) for an Inspector to go to this location in question.

The Parking Authority was out to this location n 09/30/16 spoke with the contractor on the issue of the yellow tape for saved parking spaces informed him what needed to be done and how to get parking permits. The old parking permits were removed.

So it is acceptable to remove the tape and park there if we see this happen again (if the appropriate sign is not posted)?
