This is long overdue!

The issue still has not been addressed.

The lights in the Quinnipiac River Park are still not working. Please fix. The lights going from the Grand Bridge work entirely until it goes to Brewery Square. The lights are not owned as well as the park that extends to the Ferry Bridge by the condos. Please fix and have operational for the public. This issue of no lighting in has gone to long and is a safety issue for the public and should be addressed. For the amount of taxes that are paid in Fair Haven and as a resident of Fair Haven, I want this issue escalated to be fixed. Enough is enough.

Thanks for letting me know that it has been 181 days since I reported lights not working. Well, still not working. Still an open issue. Is there a tentative date or year that lights will be fixed?

Now that the sea wall project is almost complete, is there any update?

I would suggest checking with Mark at the condos. He was the one that originally requested they be disconnected. It was at the request of a condo owner at the time. Mark may be able to tell you who he spoke to to have them disconnected.

If they are disconnected, that means that they could be connected to the parks electrical source to power them. Plus they are in such disrepair, new lighting would have to be installed.

As a condo owner for 16 years, I can assure all that the lights in the lower end of the park have never worked during all that time. Suggesting that 2 Brewery Square is somehow in charge of calling the shots on the lighting in the park implies ownership of that space in which case we will be happy take over and use for our own private use.

When will the lights be replaced and working?

Still no comments from the city. Come on guys!

The lights need to be repaired ASAP seriously it’s a safety issue people walking in the park in the evening can’t enjoy their walk because it’s so dark.

The park gets more traffic than it ever has with joggers, walkers, families, etc. Perhaps the city doesn't see their safety as much of a concern.
