There are people living here. How do they not know the owner? What happened to mowing it down and billing the owner? This is disgusting

061517- This portion of land does not belong to 1884 Montrose Dr., it is a separate parcel and we are researching for relatives of the owner of record.

This is pretty crazy. Owner Middlebrooks died circa 2013 around the time the adjacent lot (with house) was foreclosed upon. She had one son, as far as I know. I'm assuming nobody is paying taxes on it. How long before the city takes it? How long does this jungle continue to grow (and shelter vermin) if no owner can be located?

Walk by it daily. It is an eyesore and never managed.

There's no one to manage it unless the city steps. It is NOT owned by the homeowner next door. The owner died in 2011. I'm guessing no estate ever opened to pass it on to whoever her heir is. She had a son, but I'm not sure if he's still alive.
