This is my 4th request for this issue! I repeat - 4th request!
and 3 times Ive received a "closed" notice from Oakland PW department.

Public Works is simply ineffective and not only that but clearly does not know what the heck it's staff is or is not doing.
I have listed this as
1. a serious fire hazard - with all of the dry leaves dumped at the end of my street
2. a safety/security issue - with the chain and lock cut off by the fire dept (sometime in May of 2016) and now this opened gate has become a thoroughfare for after dark activities
3. drainage issue -
a. come rainy season the drainage ditch will be clogged with these leaves which become a very good wet clumping blockage
b. the automobile bumper which now sits there on the other side of the freeway fencing

I am absolutely dumbfounded as to why oakland pw keeps closing this clickfix issue. QUIT doing that!! Just fix the problem and if for some reason the City of Oakland does not feel it is responsible for doing so than advise CalTrans of this problem. or someone who will step up to the plate and do what they are responsible for.
I also note the city of Oakland PW has waited approximately 1 month before closing my past fix-its. Is that coincidental or does someone just simply go through the list and close everything that is 1 month old? whether taken care of or not?
If this get closed again without being taken care of I will ratchet this up and go up to the next level where I will look for some sort of satisfaction as I have been nothing less than patient. This is not rocket science or brain surgery and I request as a 40 + year Oakland residence and a Vietnam War Era Veteran that Oakland Public Works does their job and quit avoiding their responsibility.
