Community Development will assign an inspector to check the property for violations of the grass and weed ordinance. This ordinance only requires the cutting of grass or weeds over 8 inches in height and consume an abundance of the yard. We cannot require the trimming of trees, bushes, shrubs, ornamentals, ivy, poison ivy, oak or sumac. Thank you for contacting us.

Someone showed up this evening to cut the grass. I am sure I will need to report again in 3 weeks.

Apparently you did not see my previous message that the yard had been cut. However that does make the numerous tree limbs easier for you to see.
