and 84 Grand is owned by the City of New Haven per Vision Appraisal - this should be easy enough to crowd source - time for SeeClickFund!

The area that is fenced off was already designated as a dog park some 8-10 years ago, dedicated by Ald. Robin Kroogman.

I am a fair haven resident and would love a place for my dog to exercise that is is in walking distance. I would be willing to help with fundraising/ organization for this park if it gets off the ground, but just giving my nod of support at the moment.

My name is Lee Cruz. I live on Clinton Avenue with my wife, con and our two dogs. I am working with Dough H. on this issue. You can find me through our neighborhood website www.chathamsquare.ning.com. On this website we can form a working group to organize , communicate and move the dog park forward. There are already over 200 members on the site, mainly residents from both sides of the river. I am sure we can recruit some of these folks to support the dog park. A meeting was held at the site with Alderman Hausladen, Alderman Santiago and Acting Director of Parks & Recreation Christy Hass regarding this location, decision is still pending.

This would be a wonderful thing! I live in Fair Haven & sometimes take my 2 dogs to the Hamden Dog Park. It would great to have a one cloer to my home.
