This has been going on for about 2 weeks. There was a pothole in the middle of the road that kept growing. Also had water in it. It was filled a few days ago but the main leak has not been addressed. A big section of dirt in front of the building is starting to cave in. The meter room is below that and water is leaking in

Will we be able to sue the city for the damage, having given them plenty of notice?

We have been placing 311 reports for over a week and the leak still continues

It's a few blocks away and was investigated by DEP.

That is impossible. As Ann S said, this message is not for 2601 Glenwood Road.

It can't be. We are located on Glenwood Road by 26th street. 21st street is right above Ocean Avenue. That is very far away from us.

Update: The Department of Transportation (DOT) inspected this location and issued a notice of repair to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on August 17th. CB14 reached out to DEP again today requesting an update on the repairs of this reported street condition. The response will be posted here as soon as it is received. Update: DEP has reported that the water noted in the street is originating from a leaking pipe owned by the building located at 2601 Glenwood Road. A 3-Day Notice to Repair has been served to the building owner. For follow up information and details of required repairs, please contact JRD Property Management at 718-469-1110.
