Several years ago FERP led a group of us in re-landscaping the trail here. Erosion is definitely taking its toll and I think it's time to re-visit that project. Another option would be to find a Boy Scout or Girl Scout working on their Eagle or Gold Award project to re-do the sloped trail here as stone steps instead. That would be quite an undertaking but would be both pretty and functional, and would echo the Giant Steps a little further up the trail. Just a thought...
