Fairmont park is again becoming an issue, there have been people living there. There is drug paraphernalia, used condoms, and garbage all over the park. Several of these things have been there for over one month. I used to go here often, even daily, this was not an issue several months ago, but it's becoming dangerous within the last few weeks to month. There has been little police/park rec presence there and as such more and more people are using it as their dumping, drug, and sleeping grounds. It is becoming incredibly unsafe for residents. My dog almost stepped on a used needle the other day when we were walking, there are atleast four sleeping areas in the park now, used condoms, considerable amounts of trash, crack pipes etc. People in the neighborhood do frequent this park, there is a school right behind the park, and a community garden to the side of the park. Please have someone go there, and clean it up so people know they cannot use this area as their personal dumping ground before a more dangerous situation happens.
