Address is 6600 S.W. 1st Court. Filthy pool is a health hazard.

Code Officer A Nazario did go out to 6600 SW 1 Court on 8/11/16, but was unable to see the pool as the wooden fence obstructs the view from the sidewalk. The Code Officer will need to permission from a neighbor to view the violation from that neighbor's yard. Please contact our office at 954/431-4466 to speak with Code Officer Nazario. 6600 S.W. 1st Court does not have a wooden fence. The property next door (6604) has the wooden fence. Please check again. Pool can be seen from the swale on the east side of the property (on 66th Ave.) which is where the picture was taken.

Code Officer Nazario started two Code cases against this property - Cases #86131 & #86133. Both cases are set up for reinspection next week. This property still has the nasty green pool. I was told they had tool September 6 to do somthing about it and still nothing.

The Code cases are set for reinspection this week; However, Code Compliance does have a process to follow &, if the property owner does not rectify the issues, these cases will go before the Magistrate, an abatement order may be issued, daily fines will start to accrue & liens may be placed against the property.

Again, Code Compliance has a process to follow & we do have two active Code cases against this property. Sometimes property owners do not heed our notices & take care of their property in a timely manner but we do bring them before the Magistrate to rectify issues & levy fines/liens against the property.
