Suddenly the water in the sink & toilet is totally brown & leaves a silty sediment.

The Regional Water Authority thanks you for reporting this situation and has sent someone to check it out. Just a note that while we do monitor the SeeClickFix site, principally during business hours, an even better option would have been to call our 24/7 emergency line at (203) 562-4020.
