Hempstead Town works in conjunction with the Nassau County Police Department to remove abandoned vehicles from our roads. First the Police Department must issue tickets and then Hempstead Highway Department can begin the towing process. A report has been shared with the Highway Department requesting that appropriate action be taken. If you need further assistance please call the department directly at 516-489-5000.
