I think every street are concerned with power lines and that can't justify planting trees between the ditch and the road. Otherwise all of the streets will be that way.
Also to mention, the trees obstruct the stop sign visibility on Beall street and the 24th.

I walk my dog through the intersection of Beall and 24th at least twice a day. On two occasions I have seen vehicles heading south on Beall towards 24th ST who can not see the stop sign soon enough so the stop past the sign. The tree closest to the sign definitely needs to be removed for visibility purposes. It is starting to pose a hazard now and will worsen as the tree grows.
The ordinance should prevail as the trees cause visibility issues being in the same line as various ST trey signs. This will get worse as they grow. Is the city going to be responsible for trimming them to keep the branches from growing into the road way and making it necessary to driving around the tree branches? Was this considered?
The trees DO look attractive, but safety first. Other neighbor's have comment on the Nextdoor app about safety at this intersection as a result of these planting.
