Their dog runs loose. I walk my Lab on a leash at 9-9:30pm daily and have been confronted by the dog that lives at this address 3 different times. This last time the dog was on Via Pacifica unattended. It rushed my dog and I barking and growling. I scared it off and continued the walk. I looped around and walked across the street from the dog's house only to be barked at again. This time the owner yelled at him. I then yelled at the owner and told him that I have been pestered by his dog on three occasions. I told him that if his dog comes close to me I would strike him with a walking stick that i carry. He informed me his dog is gentle and would't bark/growl at me. He is in denial. He then told me to strike his dog should he come at me again. I love animals and would never want to hit a dog for its owners negligence. I feel it a problem waiting to happen being that I've seen his dog since then roaming around with no leash or supervision. I'm bringing it to your attention for if I get bite or take evasive action I want it to be documented. Thank you for your time.
