说明
The storm drain at Ravine and Webster is backed up, creating a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The attached picture is an hour after the rain yesterday, and it has only dropped about a foot as of this morning. We've seen the developer at 29 Ravine (FM Home Improvement, Inc.) depositing materials in the storm drain, which may have contributed to this unprecedented backup.

With Zika having caused the first continental travel warning in history, it is extremely disheartening that I don't have any response at all from the JCMUA. The storm drain is still backed up, creating a veritable mosquito water park.
Responding to these concerns befors Zika makes its way here would give us all a little confidence that the JCMUA, Hudson County and the city have a plan and the capability of executing that plan. Silence certainly does not.

With the rain yesterday, both storm drains backed up again. Furthermore, I was bitten by an Aedes albopictus or an Aedes aegypti (the mosquitoes that carry Zika) the other day around the corner from these mosquito pools.
Still no acknowledgement from JCMUA on this issue here, and certainly no action.
