One of the two Registrars of Voters wrote back: "Thank you, we need to know this info. Wish we get more details about the discussion of the ballot; there should be no discussion or comments about anything on the ballot by poll workers or voters within the polls and within a 75 foot area outside the polls." If anyone notices this activity at a polling place, please contact the Registrars' office immediately at 203-946-8035.

Wow, thanks for checking into that. I guess it is very strict indeed. That was the whole of their comments, on the poll workers side. so, like I said, it was of only some concern. It didn't go very far.

For the long version: One poll worker let me know I did not have to answer. I said, Oh, I know (because I already know that) The worker sitting next to her, a man said, the question is vague. I said, I'm voting on it, and went to fill out my ballot.

So that was the entirety of the conversation, start to finish. I didn't pursue the conversation.
