C Cowles still owns the building for now and maintains some activities on site. They have never, at least in the past 5 years, taken care of the weeds in that sidewalk. Last year, the city cleaned it up, but it needs to be cleaned up again, and not at taxpayer expense.

I have spoken with the owner of the building and he has assured me that the work will get done by next week.
