Across from the north bond left turn lane next to the Elephant Walk Restaurant at Hadley Street the bike lane disappears in a section of Mass. Ave that gets a lot of bike traffic. There are several sections of Mass. Ave where the island has been removed and replaced with a double solid yellow line. Please remove the concrete island next to the left turn lane so that the missing bike lane section can be restored.

Thank you for reporting. This system is best suited to respond to service requests like potholes, street lights, rodent issues, etc. that can be assigned to staff and addressed in a timely manner. Issues like this require further examination and planning and this report has been shared with the appropriate departments as we study future roadway design and other issues that impact congestion.
