I would like to return an unused medium size trash bin. I can put it curbside at 175 Harvey St at the intersection of Harvey and Jackson Streets.

Learned at the Hazardous Waste pickup that sharps (i.e. needles) can not be dropped off at Hazardous Waste Days but must be placed in a sealed container and delivered either to the Police Department or the Windsor Street Health Center. Couldn't a police officer be assigned to collect sharps at Hazardous Waste Days? It would eliminate a second trip for some and keep others from tossing sharps in the trash.

Eversource or maybe it's Verizon just installed a new pole across the street from 134 Jackson St., Cambridge. As usual the old pole remains, attached to the new pole, because of all the attachments on top. But the old pole was cutoff to short. It overhangs the curb a couple of inches, just enough to hit cars parking close to the curb. Could a few more feet are cut off so the cars and vans don't risk hitting the pole?

The popular compost bins behind the Peabody School are again overflowing to the delight of the local rats. Looks like another couple of the very large compost bins are needed.

Not only are many cars "garaged" in the Rindge Avenue, Russell Field parking lot, the two EV Vehicles only parking spaces in front of the dual EV charging port usually have non-EV cars parked in them all day and night.

The new EV charging Station in the Comeau Field parking lot of of Rindge Avenue. Is it "turned on" and when will signage be added saying parking only for Electric Vehicle charging?

Social distancing on the Linear Park from the Alewife MBTA Station to Massachusetts Avenue sometimes happens but often doesn't. Every entrance could benefit from sandwich boards warning signs like Arlington has on the Minuteman Bikeway and especially "Single File Except to Pass" signage.

I haven't run or walked at Fresh Pond in a couple of weeks. It's too congested for adequate social distancing. Every entrance needs "One Way" and "Single File Except to Pass" signage.

On Jackson Street at the intersection of Jackson and Harvey Streets a water meter is leaking a considerable amount of water.

Existing from the Fresh Pond Mall northbound on the Fresh Pond Parkway is often blocked by vehicles in the intersection. Crossed diagonal lines in the "box" would remind drivers to not stand stationary in the intersection.

At 5:30am this morning and several recent mornings, there have been very loud construction noise, all before 7:00am. We live on the other side of the Linear Park bike path on Harvey Street so I don't know the exact address of the early morning construction noise. It could be Whittemore, Magoun, or Madison Street. This morning it was a continuous back-up beeper that lasted at least 30 seconds. After 7-7:30am all is quiet. I can't imagine any on-going emergency that requires repeated 5-6:00am noise of this level.

This morning, Thursday, July 17 at 7:15 am, three pickup trucks were parked in front of the Cambridge Water Department's front entrance at Fresh Pond. The engines of all three pickup trucks were running and no one was in or near any of the three trucks. Two of the trucks had standard Mass. license plates and one had a Colorado license plate. I assume they were owned by people working on a City of Cambridge contract job. If I'm not mistaken this kind of pollution that contributes unnecessarily to climate change and global warming is illegal.
