A small young pear tree planted by URI is infected with cedar-apple rust and drops dead leaves throughout the growing season - spring and summer. Ugly! And without green leaves it offers no environmental benefits. We would like it removed, and replaced with a more appropriate tree. The tree is small enough for our Greenspace group to remove, if the city cannot make this a priority. All we need is permission!
