Public Works Inspector: Landscaper came by asking if we threw branches over our fence into city property. We denied. Then we noticed the branches were thrown over the fence on our property. We do not have the proper disposal bags, etc. to properly dispose of these branches.
City landscaping crews are not responsible for maintaining the area behind your home. You likely encountered a contractor hired by Georgia Power to clear trees from the power lines.
The city does not clean up debris on private property. If you would like to dispose of the branches, Dekalb Sanitation will pick them up from the curb as long as they are cut under four feet in length. By your picture, it appears that they already meet that requirement. Thank you for using SeeClickFix!
