Description
Old Oak Park, at the intersection of Rossmoor Parkway and Old Oak Drive, has become a dumping ground. There are piles of dirt that has been hauled in and dumped, and just recently piles of large rocks have been dumped there also. The dirt is loose and uncovered, so when the wind blows the dirt/dust is blown around the neighborhood.
Those of us who live here would appreciate if the city could put a stop to the dumping. This area is a city park and shouldn't become an unsightly dumping ground for excess debris. If the city is doing this, then we would prefer that they develop the park as a park, vs using it as a dumping ground. Park plans have been in place since early/mid 90's and the city hasn't implemented them. If WC city is now using the Old Oak Park property as a dumping ground, then it needs to be STOPPED. It isn't nice for the neighborhood to see piles of dirt and debris being hauled in and left as an eyesore in our neighborhood.

When will the dirt be graded into the hillside? It is an eyesore and has been like that for more than a month.
Also why is the city storing rocks in a city park, instead of at the location where they will be used.
We are concerned the city is turning Old Oak Park into a dumping ground. Why have you stated dumping the city's excess dirt and rocks in Old Oak Park when you haven't done that before? What changed to cause this behavior? Will you continue to dump dirt/rocks/other excess city junk in this park?
