Please FULLY restripe the crosswalk. It was wiped out during repaving and is now only partially striped. To make matters worse, DDOT's parking division has usurped the unmarked side for parking spaces. (That is illegal -- pedestrians have right of way even if crosswalk is not marked under DC Code 50-2201.28. See DCMR 18-99 for definition of a crosswalk. DDOT has no authority to turn crosswalks into parking spaces.) I'm going to file a separate request re the parking issue and will leave it to you to decide who goes first.)
