This area is private property and not maintained by the city. It has been reassigned to Inspectional Services. An inspector will take a look.

Update: This waterfront walkway is actually on private property. It is a condition of the owner's Chapter 91 License, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, to maintain public access along this walkway and keep the area in good condition. The owner recently sought renewal of its temporary Chapter 91 License to continue the use of the site as a temporary, airport related parking area. On October 19, 2016, DEP issued a Written Determination pursuant to Chapter 91 to approve the renewal, subject to the licensee repairing and better maintaining the walkway. DEP proposes to give the licensee 6 months to improve the walkway. The City will be working with DEP to enforce this requirement.
