Thank you for comment regarding the bus bench. The advertising company that owns and manages the bus benches in Grande Prairie has been contacted and made aware of the issue.
They stated that the bench is new pressure treated plywood and that they don't paint it because the paint just peels and looks bad after a while. They also stated that they tend to see much more graffiti on a painted bench than on the raw wood.
This bus bench with the new pressure treated plywood has been moved to Bus Stop # 311. I have noticed that it has been hit with graffiti even though there is the pressure treated plywood. Could you please send a worker to remove the graffiti off the bench at this newly upgraded bus stop # 311. Thanks
