Going on 3 months now. Recently saw tree experts in area and asked if my issue was on the 'to do' list. They stated they have a backlog of years ?!? My concerns are for the safety of my tenants who park in front of my property or under this particular tree and for bikers using the street. Can I get a response as to a timely end date for getting this issue resolved ?

for the sake of your tenants maybe you should pay to have it trimmed at this point...

I am patiently waiting for my taxes to be put to work in front of my property. It is the city's responsibility to get this done and they are responsible if damage or harm occurs. Tenants have been warned about the tree.

Tree is basically dead with limbs hanging over grass, biking path and autos. Please remove or at least trim. It's been all summer now and the ice will certainly bring it down and cause harm or destruction. I also want Urban Resources to plant a new one in its place.

This issue continues to be a source of concern for safety reasons. Apparently, the city of New Haven would rather risk residents harm or property damage as it has been 5 months and no action has taken place. I am leaving this open in the hopes that its removal is accomplished before winter ice brings it down and causes certain injury,

Very concerned that this issue remains on the to do list for the city of New Haven. I'm wondering what could possibly be causing an issue to remain on the outstanding list for so long especially when it can be a source of litigation for the city. I wonder where my concerns are getting lodged and if they are ever looked at by a city employee or just lost in a mass of data base messages. We have so many good and productive volunteer and private organizations contributing to this wonderful city. I wonder when the paid and elected ones will rise to the occasion ?

It has been almost 3 months since this issue was made a Removal Priority 1. I see there is a posting on the tree asking for comment as to whether anyone disagrees that the tree should be removed. I am the owner of the property and the limbs are dead and pose a safety hazard. I was wondering if there was a comment by others to keep the dead tree standing ? Please advise. If no on has made a comment, please remove asap and prevent any damage to person or property. Thank you.
