Men painting house @ 627 Q St NW washed paint brushes into gutters, where it then drained into the storm drain across from 1611 Marion St NW. This drains into the Anacostia river. When asked to clean up & stop the paint runoff, the workers washed it completely down the drain. The owner of the house being painted @ 627 Q, who was a witness, said she did not know any other way for them to dispose of the paint!?
