It took about 2 years to fix a missing metal sewer cap that was a danger to walkers. That was finally fixed with a nice grate and a granite sewer header. Now, that granite sewer header looks like a car hit it and cracked it in half right down into the part that goes "into" the sewer. Looks to be a danger again if someone should step on it.
Sewer in question is on the corner of Kneeland Rd. and Ft. Hale Rd., on the east side, in front of 9 Kneeland Rd. 3/10/10 Picture to follow.

LOL!!!!! You must be kidding. It won't be fixed until someone gets hurt OR the granite curb falls into the sewer!

Now that the 7 feet of snow on that corner has melted, the cracked granite looks worse than before! Maybe that snow plow driver that FINALLY came down the street last week, about 60mph smashing through the frozen mounds of snow that were never removed from the first storm, hit it and cracked it more! Wouldn't surprise me considering that he was going so fast the truck was bouncing in the air as he hit the ICE dams and left METEOR size CHUNKS of ice in our driveway and on our clean sidewalks!
It was a city truck which I understand ended up being towed from our street because it was damaged. Not surprising the way he was driving it!
