If the vehicle appears to be operable and is not wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled, or discarded and either the Registration or the Inspection is expired, then it is not a Junk Motor Vehicle. Being operable or appearing to be operable (ie: no flat tires, no drive-train hanging under the car, etc.) and having one expired sticker is not a Junk Motor Vehicle. Being wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled, or discarded and either the Registration or the Inspection have expired is a Junk Motor Vehicle.

The Code Officer for the area is attempting to make contact with the property owner in regard to the vehicles.

The Code Officer reported that out of two vehicles, only one was observed as being inoperable. Letters have been received by the property owner and lien holder. The Officer has been in contact with the lien holder about resolving the issue.

The Code Officer reported that the remaining vehicle has been removed; all others are operable or have current registration.
