1. SW City Vehicle / Pedestrian Entrance to Hunter Park has been loaded with trash for months. Haven't been by in the last week, but my last visit it was still an appalling mess. 2. Unfortunately pedestrians don't care enough to find the garbage can - but Hunter Park's cans are all lumped together by the Gazebo, instead of spread out in the park 3. leaving the defunct, cracked, net-less tennis Court (NW side, used for whatever sports the neighbors can dream up), the 4. broken playground apparatus itself, 5. the hoop-less basketball court, and the SW area without trash cans. The gazebo with the cans is right next to the playground, but apparently many Hunter Park playground users can't walk 25 feet and simply toss their snack containers and bottle onto the muddy, mostly 6. mulch-less playground floor. 7. Finally, the park itself has various trenches / holes in the fields of sod, which could easily be filled with soil and decrease a safety issue. I'm sure the lawn mowing team knows exactly where these problem areas are. Shame to have such a poorly maintained park as your neighborhood space to bring your children.
