Description
A new home is being built here on an empty lot. All the homes on the block all have the same distance to the sidewalk. Let's say that is 40 ft(not sure of exact distances). The new home looks to be within 10 ft of the sidewalk. That will make it non-cosistanst with the rest. It will be very different and stick out. I thought the front of all homes had to be on the same plane looking down the block. A previous neighbor on 8th. ave. N. couldn't get a porch added as it would stick out forward of the rest of the homes. How did this get approved? Thanks!.

It also sounds like a 'I have mine, they can't have their's' type of complaint since as I walk the pooch there are houses very close to the sidewalk everywhere. If this is a legitimate complaint, which is starting to not seem like one, I'd go a few notches towards the 'more serious direction' and make a call to the city ordinance department unless you already have and this is your last stab at inevitable failure, just saying.
