The tree in question is a private tree. The Forestry Dept. did go out to 27 Maurice St., and tree was already trimmed by a private arborist.

The tree was partially trimmed over the property and yes part of the tree is on private property.

However the large, dead branches that are overhanging the street are the responsibility of the town to take care of otherwise someone may get hurt. This is not the responsibility of the homeowner if it overhangs the street and sidewalk. Please fix ASAP.

On behalf of a resident that has called, she has indicated that the information about the tree is accurate but the address is incorrect. The address is 39 Maurice Street and that is where the dead branches are hanging over onto the street. Could we have someone go out and trim the additional branches?

I'm a "he" lol but yes, the address is incorrect as the Seeclickfix markers are incorrect due to this location bring almost on top of the town of Medford and Malden border. Also the map itself is partially incorrect at the junction.
