When repainting the lines, it would be great to also more clearly mark the turning lanes coming from City Hall Mall onto Rt. 60. There are two lanes that customarily turn left. However, it's common for cars in the far left lane to turn into the middle lane (or sometimes, dangerously, into the right lane), and for cars in the middle lane to turn into the right lane.

Everyday I have a car who almost hits me because they are not able to stay in their lane because they cannot see the barely painted lane anymore. This should be fixed ASAP!

I'm stunned these safety lines STILL haven't been painted. Someone complained about the problem a month before I did 3 weeks ago. It's as if the city's waiting for an accident!

It is also especially difficult to see the crosswalk -- leading drivers who are unfamiliar to not stop for pedestrians. Some traffic calming/curb extension may be an interesting idea during a square revamp...

Maxim, I'm assuming you reopened this because of your very important concerns about the turn lanes? I wonder if that should be a separate issue, to help the city understand what's still needed?

Actually, I reopened it because there are still no lane markings on Route 60 West in front of City Hall. That said, I do appreciate the freshly painted lines in front of Pure Hockey!

Thanks to the city for repainting the lane lines. Maybe the re-striping schedule can be moved up a bit next spring!?
