2 weeks and nothing....I would love to know how much the taxpayers payed for this worthless app...probably nowhere near as much as we pay for inept city employees charged with responding to it. Useless as usual Salem

I agree, but don't blame the city employees because the mayor does not support them. She outsources everything

Well said, I know there are hard working men and women in Salem...just too bad the ones that delegate the work flow are not among them

Although I understand your frustration, it seems to be misdirected. There are major issues that require the Mayor's direct action, but this is not one. Did you consider calling your Ward Concillor? And, it's amazing what a bit of Mo-Tape can do for this issue until it can be repaired or replaced. If you are worried about the kids, that would definitely prevent a cut.

A new part had to be ordered which may take awhile. The city has no control over the length of time these playground parts take to come in. The affected area has been taped temporarily.

Temporary tape has come off and there still hasn't been a repair or replacement 3, almost 4 months later. Apparently there haven't been any reported injuries, but funny to see dps would be willing to take that chance.
