On the 691 overpass where Meriden Waterbury Turnpike turns into West main St. Heading south into Meriden in the left lane there is a huge pot hole right by the second expansion joint. Going only approx 20 mph because I was stopped the light was red. I couldn't avoid it due to traffic on my right and oncoming traffic I hit it and it put a nice big bubble in my tire. This pot hole has been there for years. It's never repaired and only once I think they cold patched it in the fall 2 years ago but the plows ripped it up. State roads are never maintained yet our taxes our astronomical.
