You are correct that this has been reported numerous times in fact the city gave this person until July of last year to fix the issue and the city has not followed up. I can only assume this person is a relative of someone in the inspection department.

Staff investigated and initiated a public nuisance for minor ROW violations
on 4/13/2015/2016 with deadline of 4/25/2016.
The front yard is not in violation relative to overgrowth other than grass/ weeds some minor ROW encroachment of vegetation at sidewalk.

What happens if the homeowner does nothing. Last year they had until July to fix this and apparently they just thumbed their noses at the city. I think this needs to remain open until the situation is corrected.

Thanks for reopening. I think the city needs to take shrubs, vines, etc. in the public nuisance policy since clearly grass/weeds are just a small part of this yard's problem.

No, the lower level windows are now boarded up and the house looks worse than ever.

Umm, does anyone actually check these. That house was torn down a year ago and the lot was bulldozed. There is now a brand-new house there with beautiful, professional landscaping.
