Both Sides of the street at Wooster Square dog park have no parking. Can the no parking signs be turned into metered parking?

i agree - and sent this over to TT&P for further investigation. on August 15th the department agreed to look into parking along Union Street, but wanted to wait for the park to open to see the demand before implementing anything
also - there's parking on Chapel Street at Union (in the interim)

Thanks Doug,
There was an Officer who suggested I talk to tt an p as he would have to ask people to move. Was not aware of the parking at Chapel. Metered parking seems like it would be advantageous to the folks at Torrington Supply as well.

Thank you to Jim Travers and the TT&P division!
I just spoke with TT&P and I am submitting a letter of recommendation to the Traffic Authority to study the installation of 1 or 2 hour permit parking on the street to give the users of the dog park a place to park (and as Ben mentioned an additional place for customers of the business to possibly park as well).
The parking as proposed will be on the West side of the street. We will have to monitor to make sure that long term parking does not occur and that employees and restaurant goers do not abuse the parking.
What do people think?!

I vote or metered parking. Revenue generating and easier to enforce.
Thanks guys!
